Our company

Stable Hands Pottery Studio is located inside the barn, at the Honey Field Farm, 6217 Ross Road in Abbotsford. The pottery comprises classrooms, a hand-building room, a glazing room and a kiln room. The classroom contains eight wheels, damp boxes and shelving. The glazing room contains work benches, and areas dedicated to glazing, and storage of chemicals, glazes and equipment. The hand-building room contains  a sink, a slab roller, tables to work on and a plaster wedging table. We also have a pugmill used for recycling clay. The kiln room contains three electric kilns, once dedicated to bisque firing, which is fired when it is full. A small "test" kiln, for pieces under 1 ft3, and a second larger kiln, which is used for bisque and glaze firing.
